Holding professional designations and certifications acknowledge additional experience and expertise in various areas of the real estate business.

Please know that there are additional items, fees, and courses you will need to complete to receive some of these designations and certifications. NAR Designation Courses

Graduate REALTOR® Institute - GRI

The GRI Designation indicates to buyers, sellers and other REALTORS® that you have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service to your clients by securing a strong educational foundation. learn more & get course schedule

Accredited Buyer Representative® - ABR®

The ABR® Designation prepares real estate professionals to represent buyer–clients in real estate transactions and provide the quality of service and degree of fidelity to buyers that sellers have customarily enjoyed. get course schedule

Certified Residential Specialist - CRS

The CRS designation is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers. On average, CRS designees earn nearly three times more in income, transactions, and gross sales than non-designee REALTORS®. 

Senior Real Estate Specialist® - SRES®

The SRES® Designation program educates REALTORS® on how to profitably and ethically serve the real estate needs of the fastest growing market in real estate, clients age 50+. By earning the SRES® designation, you gain access to valuable member benefits, useful resources, and networking opportunities across the U.S. and Canada to help you in your business.

Certified International Property Specialist - CIPS

International real estate opportunities are everywhere. New people move to the U.S. from other countries every day and foreign-born individuals residing in the U.S. move to new markets. Americans in your current market invest in property overseas. Seller Representative Specialist - SRS

This designation is the premier credential in seller representation. It is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance personal performance. The designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) who meet specific educational and practical experience criteria.

Green

Green homes sell faster and for more money than homes without energy-efficient features. Buyers increasingly search for homes that have increased energy performance and provide a healthier, more comfortable living space. Builders of green homes depend on educated real estate professionals to help market newly constructed or remodeled homes.

At Home With Diversity® - AHWD

The At Home With Diversity® course will prepare you to work effectively with – and – within today’s increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers. Real estate professionals who adapt to increasing cultural diversity in the market and who wisely plan to meet the needs of diverse clients gain a competitive edge and are able to expand opportunities.

e-PRO®

Home Finance Resource - HFR

Military Relocation Professional - MRP

This certification is for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members. Pricing Strategy Advisor - PSA

This certification is specifically designed to enhance your skills in pricing properties, creating CMAs, working with appraisers, and guiding clients through the anxieties and misconceptions they often have about home values.

Real Estate Negotiation Expert - RENE

Elevate your game! Examine all kinds of negotiation formats and methods so that as a negotiator you can play the game to win. Gain a full spectrum of tips, tools, techniques, and advantages provided in day one so that you can provide effective results for your clients. The second day of the course focuses on real-world field scenarios to help your apply the power tools, techniques and tactics learned on the first day.

Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist - RSPS

RSPS is recognized as an official NAR Certification, and allows buyers and sellers to have confidence in the ability of a REALTOR® who specializes in buying, selling or management of properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination, to assist them with their search.

Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource - SFR

Certified Residential Property Manager - CRPM

Increase your knowledge and skills in topics that relate to the day to day business of a property manager. The curriculum was developed in concert with property management attorneys and longtime property manager practitioners.

REALTOR® Certified Risk Management Specialist - rCRMS

Certified Negotiation ExpertTM - CNE
