Advocacy at the State Level
While WeSERV works locally in the West Valley, SouthEast Valley, Pinal County, and Douglas to protect private property rights and public policy, AAR is your "Voice at the Capitol". Arizona REALTORS® hosts events like REALTOR® Day at the Capitol and REALTOR® Caucus. REALTORS® from across Arizona gather annually in January at the State Capitol to meet with legislators and discuss topics impacting real estate and the local housing market.In September, AAR hosts the REALTOR® Caucus. This event creates a platform in which REALTORS® can come together to discuss successes, legislative initiatives, possible issues we may see in the next legislative session, and to present issues they're facing in their communities. There are also presentations and breakout sessions. The REALTOR® Caucus marks the start of setting policy priorities before the next legislative session convenes in January.
